People around me were saying 'Beware' Santander! Yet my switch to them 2 years ago went through without a hitch and they have delivered on their promises with my 123 Current Account Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Student Account

The banking app is really easy to use and the rewards page is a great bonus. The interest is much better than my other bank account. The interest free overdraft and free railcard are brilliant incentives for the student account. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Money for nothing

The 123 account is very good if used correctly. We pay all our bills through DD and receive around £14 a month back. It’s a money for nothing situation as you have to pay them anyway! Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Great deal for savers

Even though interest rates are rubbish and Santander reduced the % @1.5% on 3 accounts for a couple with max £20,000 it cant be beaten. Plus cash back its a winner still Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Easy to use account

Not had much call to speak to Santander but their on line service is excellent. A very flexible but secure website. Easy to see and manage all accounts. Interest on balance and DDs has dropped but still compares fairly favourably with other banks Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Easy online operation and helpful staff

Despite poor reports on customer service I have never experienced this. Staff are knowledgeable when I have questions. Local branch pointed out how I could earn more interest with them. Even though I have an online account with them I can ring orvisit a local branch. Pity they now charge an account and credit card fee but I just about break even. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Great account for people with £20000 to have easy access to

Good perks from a bank? Surely not!!

Had a good sign on bonus and tiered bonuses for paying our bills through Santander. We also sweep any balances to one of their good rate savings account. They've been pleasure to bank with. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Money for nothing

You use a current account, right? You pay your bills by DD, right? Do both with Santander 123 lite, and for £1 a month, get circa £5 a month cashback. It's effectively free pennies for stuff your bank does anyway. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017
