By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Fairest Car Insurance in UK

As a retired professional, I am a low-milage driver and sure can benefit from this way of calculating my insurance premium. However, as a qualified insurance underwriter with 26 years of practical experience I can tell you even if you are a high-milage user (e.g. a commercial traveller), you have 90% chances of getting lower premium. Why? They charge everyone with a rate according to the 10% of their customers with the highest claim record and mileage. Reviewed on: 17th August 2020

Paying per mile for car insurance is sucjh an obviously sensible and fair product for everybody, regardless of their driving patterns.

Best car insurance provider ever. I'm paying halve what I was paying my previous insurer and I can keep tabs on all the journeys I make and the cost.
