By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I was able to speak to an advisor via chat which was super easy. I value the fact that I didn’t have to call them. Also I’m not being charged by my address and age etc. I’m being charged by mile. Says what it does on the tin. I like that idea. Because even though I am 28 and from Close to the city centre. I am supposed to be greater risk. In actual fact. I drive little, work and back and rarely on weekends. My bill reflects this. It is the cheapest insurance I have had since I started driving at 19. Coming from £4000+ Down to this is AMAZING. I have been using By Miles for a year now, and it has saved me 100s in car insurance in a year. Those who do not drive a lot will definitely benefit from using By Miles. With the pandemic and lockdowns, people are likely to change their driving habit and they could save money by using By Miles. I would definitely recommend my friends to use it.
