By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I’m so pleased I found By Miles. As someone who doesn’t drive long distances, it’s been perfect. The app is easy to use and helpful in tracking your journeys. I’ve only needed to speak to the customer service team once and on that occasion they were very helpful and patient. Great for low mileage drivers!

As a housewife I don’t use my car that often, however since the lockdown and even less mileage used I feel By Miles is the best car insurance by far. Well done to whoever cane up with this brilliant set up. Reviewed on: 30th July 2020

Cheapest and best customer service

Absolutely thrilled that my insurance is now based on my actual usage, as I don't use my car that much and it seems a waste to pay the normally fairly high premiums. So this is perfect and fair. I think Miles insurance is fantastic. I was telling my friend all about Miles. And we both come to the conclusion its a cute insurance company was telling her about the recipies Miles sent me while I was in lock down (the banana Bread) did not make it as I dont like banana's. But it's still Cute. And the little tips Miles send me. it's so cute about making sure your battery is full and checking your tyres. She would love to be insured by Miles but has not passed her Car test, but my Daughter is going to get a quote when she has been driving over 2years. Reviewed on: 30th July 2020

By Miles is very cheap and convenient compared to almost every other insurance company. They’ve really saved my life this year and I cannot thank them enough.
