By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

The way to go !

This is definitely the new way to go when it comes to car insurance. I wasn’t sure at first because even for someone who doesn’t do a great deal of driving, I know the miles can somehow still stack up HOWEVER taking out this type of car insurance has proven to be so cost effective and has already saved me £££ Customer service is great and handled me with care and professionalism! I am a low mileage driver and always had trouble parting with so much money for insurance when I don’t use the car very much in comparison to the norm. The box you get is easy to install with clear instructions and the app is great at keeping you posted on how much your trips cost!
