By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

A 21st century Car Insurance company

Finally I’ve come across a 21st century car insurance company. There are 3 reasons why I love By Miles: 1. They’re disrupting the market with something simple yet brilliant. They’ve identified a clear gap in the market and have crafted a product that fits it. 2. The customer service is amazing. Every time I’ve gotten in touch with I have experienced a genuine intention to help (as opposed to the conventional reading from a playbook) 3. And they do all of it (the device that fits in the car, the app that's fabulous) through fantastic use of technology. In summary, I love it and would happily recommend others to use it. Why pay for a parked car ? By miles gives you the option to save money by walking or cycling which in turn increases your cardio and reduces your carbon, Making life cheaper greener and healthier!
