By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Simply smart!

ByMiles insurance is a such a smart and clever way to insure my vehicle! Not only am I very impressed with the thinking of this company and its by mile policy calculation but also with the smart easy to use App! An App anyone can use and track their costs.. A great way to insure.

I was a little dubious to begin with when I first looked at their website and couldn't understand and if it would work out best for me.however after taking out the policy and looking at the savings that I was making it made it very clear that this is definitely the way forward to insure your car if you do low mileage every year.it's great that you only pay a small premium and then pay for every mile that you drive I've and with it anything for people while it works out the even long journeys are good value because the mileage is capped. I've had good customer service when I've had enquiries about my policy and fitting the tracker was very easy.I will definitely use this again in the future and I would recommend it to anybody. I hope other insurance companies look at this and maybe in future doing something similar for low mileage driving. Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

Great way to pay!!!!

A part from the basic payment which is very reasonable, in my case with only 2years no claims (Mature man 67) £205 , and 4.2pence per mile in comparison to Direct Line £1000. You also get No claims protection. I did not give all the stars because I do not know how good they are with making a claim. You only have to agree to plug in a Gadget into your OBD socket.
