By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Absolutely fantastic company. I've used various car insurance companies over the 20 years I've been driving and none of them compare to By Miles. The concept of paying insurance by the mile is ingenious in its simplicity. The black box you need is really easy to fit, comes with advice customised to your vehicle and a contact number for any queries. The customer support team are amazing. Ive only needed to call a few times but each time the call was answered promptly by a friendly, professional, knowledgeable advisor for whom nothing is too much trouble. Having discovered By Miles I can't imagine myself having my car insurance with anyone else, even if my mileage increases By Miles is still really competitive for average mileage, its not just limited to low mileage. I found that for me, even if I was driving what insurers deem as average mileage By Miles is still REALLY competitively priced compared to the bigger car insurance companies. By Miles = Great insurance with all the benefits of traditional insurance but without the excessive costs...its the way forward. Reviewed on: 29th July 2020
