By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

This type of car insurance really works for me - great concept and well executed! I particularly enjoy using the app, it is really handy for keeping tabs on usage/costs with a bonus of tracking where your car is etc. Customer services has also been really helpful, every time I’ve called. I have been with bymiles for 3 years, has saved me so much money that I can spend on my family instead. They also cap miles per day meaning I never pay over £4.50 so can visit my family up north with no worries. On top of this they offer helpful hints and tips on keeping your car safe on the road.
