By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Cheapest even if it wasn't by miles!

I went with by-miles on my renewal. They were far cheaper than my existing provider's renewal, and also far cheaper than any other renewal option available to me through the comparison sites. The by mileage charge caps at 10,000 and even if I used all of those 10,000 miles, it would still be cheaper overall than any other option would have been! Reviewed on: 5th August 2021

This insurance has been a life saver during lockdown as you only pay for mileage you use which has saved me so much money compared to paying the conversational way. App is easy to use and you can see all your journeys and your monthly total at a glance.. Reviewed on: 5th August 2021

I MUST RESERVE JUDGEMENT TILL THE END BUT SO FAR SO GOOD, ITS THE NEW TREND! THE WEB SITE WAS A REAL DREAM CONGRATULATIONS TO THE TEAM IT REALLY WAS A PIECE OF CAKE ESPECIALLY WHEN OTHER INSURERS MAKE YOU QUAKE A HELPFUL MAN PUT MY MIND AT REST WHEN I PUT HIM TO THE TEST So HAPPY HAPPY MY MILES IS FUN EVEN ON A REAL LONG RUN! Peace of mind, simple and cost effective

After an expensive renewal quote, I looked at other car insurance companies suitable for someone who doesn't clock up a lot of miles and found By Mile. I can monitor how my journeys and monthly costs through the app and even get reminders for when I need to pay congestion charges. Haven't had any issues but so far I've very happy in the few years I've had my policy. Reviewed on: 5th August 2021

If you don’t drive many miles then this is the insurance for you. Even if you do then it could work out a lot cheaper to only pay for the miles you drive. Reviewed on: 5th August 2021

Helpful car insurance!

With the tracker they send you to put in the car, By Miles can be helpful in ways other insurance companies can't. It's notified me when my trip entered the congestion charge zone in London and helped me avoid a fine for not paying in time. You can also see any error codes from your car on the app and get links to what the problem might be. Helpful, easy to use and one of the best value options out there, for me at least.
