By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Simply value for money

Amazing insurance, pay per mile, capped at 150 miles per day, win win cant complain, saved lots of money during pandemic and still renewed now for 2nd year too as it's just excellent, customer service always in point and easily accessible through app. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

I have been very satisfied with By Mikes so much so I recommended my sister. They were good enough to send me a pouch for my key enabling me to feel a lot safer having a keyless car. Also the information they gave when lockdown was opened up about driving the car after not using it for so many months was extremely helpful. For the third time By mile is the best insurence company, this is because it is built on an unprecedented idea, to pay what you drive is the idea. Also, extremely organised website and easy to understand, I am very happy to find them and I wish the other car insurence companies to follow suit. This is utterly fair and just.
