By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

What fuels me to use By Miles?

I believe ByMiles is the perfect car insurance for me and my driving needs. I tend to drive short distances mostly, thus by miles helps me save money as I am able to track how much I am spending on insurance on the basis of the miles driven. One of the best aspects for me is knowing that I am able to leave my car parked outside my house without driving it without having to worry about paying a large fixed amount for traditional car insurance. I am much more aware of how much I am spending on car insurance and can budget accordingly. Therefore, as a young driver I would highly recommend this form of insurance as you are getting your money's worth. This also avoids me from making unnecessary trips and in some form encourages me to be more active rather than always opting for the car. An issue I was wary about prior to joining this policy, was that if you drive excessively a certain number of miles this would work out to be a large amount of insurance I may have to pay. However, I am rest assured as the policy ensures there is a capping limit of 150miles per day, thus I do not need to pay for the insurance driven above the maximum miles. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

I was extremely pleased to find a insurance company who would not charge me for driving the little miles I do. I drive to work and home and do not do many miles hence this insurance has great to spend on only what I use. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to pay for what you use.
