By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Discovering ByMiles was the best thing ever!

I found By Miles in March 2020 just before everything shut down. I saved myself £1100 on my renewal quote by switching! I couldn't believe it. I have 3 Autistic kids that I drive to appointments but don't go anywhere else. My mileage is so low so I only pay about £10 per month. Also if I need to contact them the live chat is so quick and the responses are not a bot. This company is brilliant and I suggest it to everyone with low mileage. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Best for low mileage drivers

I used to shop around and change my car insurance every year. I’ve always had a completely impersonal relationship with all of them and used an aggregator site to find me the lowest price. I then found out about Bymiles. What a different experience! It has an app for ease of use, they send regular correspondence (but not too much) and are super helpful when you call. They provide a seamless customer experience for how people like to be serviced and interacted with these days. And they talk normally. Why should I pay for what I don't use. Happened to work out so much cheaper than my next offer for insurance even if I max out the mileage, with many years of no claims. The daily charge cap is also a great benefit. When I have contacted customer service, the response was fast and quickly actioned. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

It’s so easy to contact by miles through the app, mange any changes and check payment amount. They’re always fast to respond and don’t use jargon. It’s an innovative way to be insured and anyone would be hard pressed to find something as competitive. Couldn’t recommend them enough. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
