By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I saved a fortune during lockdown! No drive then no charge, perfect! There was an issue with the tracker and my e-tron but they knew it straight away and fixed the next day (remotely) Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

I have experienced great customer service. Initially I experienced issues with the box as it was faulty I liaised via emailed as I felt more comfortable having a paper trail of the conversation I followed the instructs given but still the box did not work. I rang up and explained my situation I was sent a new box received within 2 days. I asked the advisor to also send and email to confirm that I wouldn’t be penalised for not having the box plugged in this email was done and I received it within 30 minutes. I’ve not a had a problem with the service. I was skeptical about driving long distances as I didn’t want to be charged too much, I had to drive from Yorkshire to london and to my surprise the mileage is capped when you drive over 150 miles in one day anything after is FREE!!! I would definitely recommend using this if you don’t drive for work purposes but mainly social. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Why pay for something you don't use? By Miles allows you to only pay for the driving that you actually do! This is the perfect insurance product for today's world where you need flexibility to suit ever changing needs. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

I found by miles after I was insurance shopping. I had 16 years no claims and had lost them due to having a work van fpr over 2 years. All insurers wanted £1000+ fpr insurance, by miles did it fpr less then half of that and the by mile rate works in my favour as car doesn't move in week much. I've been with Jim 2 years now amd recommended to everyone who asks about insurance and my partner is due to sign up in Sept.
