By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

In 2020, my car mainly sat parked up outside my house not being driven. After a friend told me about By Miles, I thought I’d give it a go for 2021 to see if I could get a more competitive priced insurance and one that took into account my driving (or lack of!).
