By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I switched to By Miles last year as during the pandemic I was working from home a lot more and this was the cheapest option for me. It’s brilliant to only pay for the miles you drive, the app is great, the pricing is fair and transparent. I can’t fault anything and will hopefully be renewing this year.
