By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Pay for the miles you drive

Simple, straightforward, makes sense! You pay for the miles you drive which is great for someone who doesn't drive very far. And the occasions you do have a long journey, that's capped so you don't pay too much! Comparing last year's payments to my cheapest premium with another company, By Miles' new quote was cheaper. Game Changing Insurance - pay for what you use!

Absolutely brilliant insurance model where you pay a low annual fee and then insurance is charged on a pay as you use basis so the less miles you do the less you pay, the more you drive the more you pay but the best thing is that its capped so you will always know the maximum you will ever pay. With covid restrictions etc theres not a lot of driving going on so working out to be very cheap at the moment. Really good value for money. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

This is a great company to be with if you only use your vehicle for short run arounds (shops / school runs) or if your work place is close to home. No point going with a big company who take large amounts when the majority of the time your vehicle is parked. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
