By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

For anyone doing a relatively low annual mileage, this is a perfect choice. The tracker was easy to fit and unobtrusive on my Fiesta. The app and website are textbook examples of clarity. Customer service responds instantly via the app and always have the answer. I've saved over £100 every year so I'd wholeheartedly recommend. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Cheap and fair car insurance

I dont understand why this insurance isn't more widely known. You pay a one off annual payment to cover your car for the car whilst parked around £190 then pay as you go, by the mile monthly. This means if you don't drive at all the whole month, you don't pay anything. All worked put by a black box which analyses your journeys nit your driving in anyway. Was really useful when I had a job which I claimed petrol for as postcodes, dates and times were all easily accessible in the app. Had this insurance two years now as was cheapest option for me both years.
