By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

After being let down by my insurance company after 3 years loyalty I found By Miles car insurance, finally a company providing what I need, low mileage rates and no black box. By miles is easy fast and super cheap while providing full cover and excellent customer service. I highly recommend to everyone I know that drives and I am so happy I found this company. Flexible and low cost insurance

By Miles has been a brilliant choice of car insurance, especially over the last year when car use was lower than normal. It has meant that I have paid less insurance than I normally would. The app is also fantastic, showing you exactly what miles you have done and exactly how much you have spent per journey, which allows you to manage your insurance spending accordingly. A refreshing change

I thought I'd give this a try this year, paying by Miles rather than the traditional annual policy. I liked the daily cap proposition - great for those longer trips which I do occasionally. In the main I'm doing quite short journeys so think I can save a lot. So far so good, and the app is awesome, very easy to use and understand. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
