By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Hi Miles has been an interesting change to the ordinary car insurance industry. I enjoy by miles because I am able to pay a flat rate and then on top of it I can see how many miles I have done per month and it also has helped reduce the cost of my insurance which I have thoroughly enjoyed. What an absolute coup to find By Miles for my car insurance. I changed jobs and ended up driving fewer miles than ever so thought this would be perfect. Working out the costs it's been better than I imagined. Not only that you can see exactly what you are paying for, and when. The little box is ridiculously easy to install, and also works as a tracker should your car be stolen and you can dial in to see if there are any issues. I really have nothing negative to say. Innovative approach to car insurance

When you don’t drive a lot, sometimes insurance feels like a bit of a waste of money, I mean, you have to have it, but it feels unfair that you pay the same as people who drive all the time. ByMiles seems to be a really clever approach to this, which is what attracted me to their service. I think the design and app is really nice too. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

ByMiles I have been with for a while now and never have I been more satisfied with an insurer in all the 16 years of me driving. I love ByMiles insurance and ill never change it. From the jump, it was easy to set up.. Great costumer service and its sooooo convenient!
