By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Flexible and informative

Given the changes to my driving routine over the past 2 years, I made the move to ByMiles for the flexibility it provides with regards to the mechanic of being billed for miles driven. This resulted in a much fairer quote for my insurance compared to more traditional providers. Since joining ByMiles, I have been very happy with the service provided and the ease of using the app, which also is very informative as the routes I have driven are displayed along with the cost of each drive. The best decision why ?

This is easy as By Miles makes it easy. The first call I made was a sceptical one I spoke to a polite and well knowledgeable professional she explained it so well. I was going to save me hundreds of pounds from my previous years insurance amazing!! But I was also able to look back and see where I have gone for instances what time I got to work or left work visited friends and family and it was so easy. Tracking how much I spend easy. Finding the map to a friends house with the post code so early Monthly payments easy especially when the cost is so low as it has been for me. Even if I did loads of miles its capped and that was still less than last years insurance by hundreds of pounds. So the question why ? My Miles makes it easy Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
