By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Perfect for second cars

Once I signed up, the device was posted through the letter box in a very neat box. Easily fitted to the car and the app connected straight away. Since I've fitted it I've never had any issues. The app tracks your usage and cost. I do very low mileage on my second car so this is perfect and the cheapest by far. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

By miles is the best insurance that I have had ... 'by miles !!! ' Only paying for the miles that I actually drive makes it the cheapest insurance I have had ! You can also keep track of places you have visited etc all on the handy app !! There are always people on hand to talk to about your insurance whatever time day or night and they are very responsive and friendly . Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Great customer service and value for money

It's great to see a provider that actually charges you for the miles you actually drive. Very transparent to be able to see what you're paying for "on the driveway" insurance then driving miles on top of that. The online portal is easy to use, clear and modern - lots of other providers I've been with have websites that look like they're from the late 90s. I've only needed to contact them once before, and then I got an answer to my query in minutes. I've struggled to find a cheaper provider, but even if I had, I'd stick just for the customer service. This is a fantastic concept and perfect for the world today as all our lives commuting and travel habits including driving have changed. Its incredibly simple to set up and get started and the App is intuitive and easy to use. I love the control I have to access my information to see how much mileage I am doing and what the charges are. I won't buy car insurance any other way from now on and would highly recommend this to anyone needing car insurance where you're in control and you get a good deal.
