By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Tailor made for my motoring journeys

The policy premium plus mileage costs (capped at 150 miles per journey per day, thereafter no mileage costs) is still very price competitive compared with premium only policies as being retired I only travel less than 4000 miles per year. Although I have not made any claims, the customer service interaction experience answering European travel queries had been excellent and very positive.
