By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Short drives - pay well

I spend lots of times abroad but when I am at home I know that I have not wasted my money on insurence while my car was on my drive. I just drive. Best insurance for people that don’t use a lot of miles Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Great concept

I've had no problems at all, but haven't had to claim so far. Had to change address last year and was pleasantly surprised to find By Miles don't charge the admin fee most other companies charge. My monthly fee is very low as I don't drive many miles. The only thing is that the initial payment is a little high and appears set, other than that I will definitely consider renewing again next year. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Best insurance ever

Basically I only travel short distance to and from work, especially during the pandemic, so by miles was the best option for me. Only being charged a small premium and only paying for the miles I travel is a real bonus too. Also love the app and the information it provides, the journeys I’ve taken, their distance and cost, also with a total for the month so far. Top Quality insurer, without the price tag!

I am on my second year with ByMiles, happily renewed with them as their premium is a good price and they always respond quickly to my messages. I don’t have to pick up the phone and wait in a queue to speak to someone, there is always someone at the end to respond, not just a robot. Will continue to insure with them. After a 2 weeks holiday abroad then 10 days quarantine with my family it was time to get my car insurance. Then came along By Miles that give you that need advantages and flexibility especially for most of us who are working from home or doing much shorter journeys due to the present pandemic.
