By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I’ve been with ByMiles for the last 2 years or so. They provide the most cost effective insurance for me, by far. Their service has also been great - available when I need them, and explaining in plain English any changes to their policies etc. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Used to worry about my monthly car insurance payments with previous providers. I used to pay alot & not driving my car so often, so frustrating. But now, with By Miles I pay only for the miles I drive & the annual payment is very reasonable. On top of that, their customers service skills are superb. Quite apart from the fact that the people at By Miles have always treated me with a refreshing level of courtesy, the policy itself is an absolute no-brainer, especially for low-mileage drivers. Other than your lump sum, you only pay for the miles you drive and the pence-per-mile rate is as sensible as it gets. I have never found a fairer deal for drivers and my insurance costs are a fraction of what they were before. Why should I be paying the same premium as a twenty or thirty thousand mile per year driver pays? I shouldn't and By Miles has seen to it that I don't. I can't recommend By Miles highly enough.
