By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

By miles has been excellent especially in this pandemic when cars have been driven a lot less. Great app too especially with this new low battery warning again this has been especially useful in pandemic when car is not being used as much. Cost effective Insurance for low mileage usage

If you do not drive lots of miles then this could be the best insurance for you! Very competitive quote compared to a normal insurance policy so worth looking into if you fancy making some savings! Easy to set up once you have paid your initial premium and the online account is well laid out so you can see your journeys/monthly spend etc. There are some glitches with the GPS occasionally if in very built up areas but you can message the customer service team using the facility in the online app and they will look into any journeys that have not calculated correctly. I think By Miles is superb! It beats most Car Insurance providers and to be honest im that happy with them, i've renewed for a 2nd year! They deserve to win this award as i feel they are notably better than any car insurer out there! There customer service is brilliant and their prices are the best!
