By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Best for small miles.

I'm very happy with this insurance cover. All based on your miles per year. Pay one year lump sum then literally pennies throughout ur year. U just need plug in their usb stick into ur car port & off ya go. I barely drive 2k a year now as I drive company van. So if u want cover based on ur small miles per year for whatever reason, go by Miles. Happy days. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

We have had such a great service from By Miles. We have now insured both cars in the household with them. Our renewal quote was on a lower that otter providers and By Miles previous year's. No non-sense, pay what you use and more!

With COVID-19, travelling was restricted and so was my usage of the car. Yet, not wanting to pull it off the road, I found By Miles. After a monthly minimum charge, you only pay for the miles you drove. Says it in the name! So I have saved something like 50% per month from a previous provider, and there are tons of bits you have extra! You can check your car health via the app, locate you car and also calculate how much a trip would cost you at the end of the month! Cannot say enough. Get it!! Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
