By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Most cost effective insurance

We bought our car insurance sign ByMiles because the cost overall was appealing to us. We don’t drive our car often so for us to pay over £700 for the year with other insurance companies didn’t make sense to us. With ByMiles, we see a breakdown for every journey how much it’s cost us as well as get monthly statements so we can better monitor our mileage. Cheap insurance - pays as you drive

By Miles is by far one of the cheapest insurance cover i have seen. I joined By Miles pre-covid lockdowns and with the lockdowns my annual insurance decreased significantly due to reduced travel. With the current changes in working style, pay as you drive seems to be the best model for insuring your car. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Relatively new to By Miles but impressed with customer service and pricing; my queries were answered swiftly and help with setting up tracker given (which proved much easier that expected). Bymiles is the best insurance I've had so far, I love that I only pay per mile that I drive, It makes sense. Also excellent customer service, I usually move providers each year but I will definitely be staying with Bymiles. They're unbeatable! Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

I love this it was quick and easy to install..the app let's you know how you are doing daily regarding usage .and its actually motivated me to walk shirt distances rather than drive..not because of the cost but for my health and fitness I chose to not to drive some places now Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
