By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Bymiles have been by far the cheapest insurer i have found being a younger driver. They have helped me alot by being the cheapest provider without them i probably wouldn't have been able to afford to insure a car. Reviewed on: 9th September 2020

Wish they were around year ago. Would have saved a fortune! As an occasional weekend driver in London who didn't previously own a car and hence no no-claims built up, insurance was very expensive for me, especially for the amount I drove. The process from purchase to setup of your car device and away you go, is very well thought out and communicated at every step, fast, efficient and smooth and of course cheaper if you are a lower mileage driver.
