By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

This company does exactly what it says “On The Tin” and more!!! Any queries have always been dealt with promptly, effectively and in an era where customer service seems to be obsolete this company clearly excell!!! I recommend this company all the time to my friends and family. After 25 years of driving they simply are the best insurance company I have ever had and would be a more than well deserved winner! Why didn't someone do this before?!

I - like many other drivers - don't tend to use my car much during the week as i commute into work by train, so i was always fed up with the fact that i paid insurance when i wasn't using my car - the only risk was someone stealing it off the driveway! So - when it came to renew this year, i saw an advert for ByMiles and had a look into it, and i'm so glad i did! My insurance cost has more than halved, and on top of that, it's easy to keep track of what your spend is with the app - and the less i drive, the less i pay! It beats the fixed cost way of insurance i've been stuck with for so long hands down. It was so easy to set up the tracker, and support is there straight through the app if you need it. And as if that wasn't enough, you get to go on long journeys - we did a long one to Cornwall when lockdown finally ended! - and the max you pay is for 150 miles in a day - what's not to like!!!!? Great service and a great product - my only regret was i didn't know about it sooner! Reviewed on: 9th September 2020

By Miles offers something different and puts their clients in control. -The concept of paying a fixed sum, then paying per mile is perfect for me and has saved me £500 already this year and I am driving the same mileage as last year when I was with a different provider. -They are also very easy to deal with. From quote to set up, the process was smooth and I didn't feel like I was getting the heavy sales treatment. -Any contact with the sales or customer services team was useful, ie: I didn't want to put the phone down straight away, which is how I normally feel when being called by a sales team.
