By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Cheap insurance for people who dont do many miles

This insurance is great for me as I barely use my car so it’s basically a pay as you go kind of system so works out a lot cheaper than standard insurances! Reviewed on: 9th September 2020

The concept is great - if you only drive a little, you only pay a little. The app makes it simple to see your month’s mileage and the cost for the insurance. I wish I had found the company sooner - would have saved a fortune!! Reviewed on: 9th September 2020

Good if most journeys are local

Even one long trip a month means I am paying more than my usual annual insurance. Was good at the time as only £150 required up front but I am finding I have to limit my journeys (so may save me £ in fuel but is rather inconvenient!) Reviewed on: 9th September 2020

Going into my second year with By Miles. The best price I’ve ever paid for insurance, considering my low mileage. The app is really useful in help keep track of what you’ve spent and the advisors I spoke to when changing address were very helpful. Would recommend to anyone who does lower mileage.
