By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

How insurance should be!

We love by miles, we tell everyone we can about them, it’s how insurance should work, you pay for what you use! We don’t do a great deal of mileage so paying by the mile was perfect for us and a lot of family and friends too. The app is a great tool also, you can see how many miles you’ve built up and see how much that month will cost you, there also a car medic which gives your car a quick health check to see if everything is in order! Overall we can’t say enough about by miles as a company and what they do, it really is great, I will never use another insurer again! Reviewed on: 9th September 2020

Best car insurance based on how much you drive. Used to pay a grand per year which is now less than half the cost if you are that typical person who doesn't drive much during weekdays. Reviewed on: 9th September 2020
