By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Really pleased with the experience, finally insurance at a fair price. I don’t drive much and it’s very annoying paying expensive insurance for little use so by miles has resolved that issue. Reviewed on: 9th September 2020

Very happy, changing to a charge per mile driven has meant that my car insurance is only half of last years (fixed price) cost. Simple to install and easy to monitor the ongoing cost with their phone app. I would definitely recommend if you are doing low mileage.
