Refused! No Alko Receiver, No insurance!

We wanted to transfer our caravan insurance from our old caravan, a Bailey Pursuit, to our brand new out of the show room, Bailey Phoenix+ caravan but because we didn’t have an Alko receiver fitted to our brand new out of the show room, Bailey Phoenix+ caravan. Caravan Guard wouldn’t insure us, even though Bailey never fit these receiver locks has standard. Plus our Bailey Pursuit caravan never had an Alko receiver fitted & was never a problem for Caravan Guard. Our existing security measures of four leg locks, hitch lock & a Nemis on the wheel, wasn’t good enough, even though all these locks were good enough for Caravan Guard to insure our previous Bailey caravan, a Pursuit. They still wouldn’t cover us for the two months it would take for our caravan dealership to accept delivery of our brand new Bailey caravan from Bailey, us taking it home & then returning it to our dealership to have the Alko Receiver fitted! Excellent and fair service

Competitive and efficient...

The cost of caravan insurance with Caravan Guard is always competitive but as with any insurance the proof of service comes when you make a claim.
