Simply website, great customer service

The website was very easy to use, and when I called with questions the call handler was pleasant, well-informed and took the time to walk me through the details, drawing out additional information which saved me even more money - in fact hundreds compared to my previous insurer. Great Campervan Insurance Team

Renewal quote and decision made easy

I always dread insurance renewal time as I get very frustrated that loyalty is rewarded only by an increased premium and finding an alternative provider is extremely time consuming and repetitive. I was delighted to find that Caravanguard's questions and process seemed so much simpler than others and the final premium was very competitive even including UK and European breakdown cover. I still had a query so phoned in and was dealt with by a very helpful agent who luckily found that I had answered a question about a previous claim incorrectly (misled by that insurer). 1st time insuring a camper for a long time.

The premium seemd reasonable compared to other insurance providers. But I would prefer insurers to be more open, i.e. give the price they think it should cost, then list the applied discounts, then the premium they would like you to pay. That way customers can do a far more realistic comparison. Reviewed on: 22nd July 2024
