Touch wood, I've never had a breakdown on the road with my 2007 N&B ARTO motorhome, though I did get my brakes maliciously cut 3 years ago whilst parked on my drive. I obviously needed rescuing at home but my CG policy, if I am not mistaken, did not cover rescue from home, so I was fortunate that my car rescue service did cover motorhomes and rescuing from home. Gold star service following a very serious accident

We had a blow out on the A1 and ended up hitting the central reservation and going over on our side block8ng both lanes. It was a terrifying experience but Caravanguard staff were excellent throughout the aftermath. The claim itself was settled within a fortnight and was far easier to resolve and significantly more generous than we had feared. On a previous occasion we became stuck on a verge after allowing other traffic to pass and agai the service was outstanding. A reakdown vehicle arrived within an hour despite it being rush hour and both they and Caravanguard staff kept us informed throughout. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
