Fantastic service

I had a problem with a payment I made twice in error and needed advice as to what action I could take. Not only did the Chase advisor answer the phone virtually immediately but he gave me advice and dealt with my problem without passing me on to another or keeping me waiting on the line. He was professional, knowledgable and friendly. I've never had any other bank deal with a query so quickly. It was amazing Reviewed on: 26th February 2024

the reporting functionality is poor and unreliable

the reporting functionality is poor and unreliable. The statements don't match the transaction listings on the app/website. When raised to customer service you get dismissed, until you make so much noise that somebody who actually listens gets pulled in. I NEVER got a follow up that the issue is closed out. The download functionality of the website is so poor, I manually have to manipulate the data in excel to be able to get comfortable my balance makes sense. Any other interaction with customer service is the same, basically dismiss any reporting concerns and stating they will close the case. They had a 2024 'how you use your account' initiative that had WRONG expenses in there. It was concerning and confusing. Not to mention that any money transaction out is called an expense. Have these people not gone to school! An expense and a cashflow is NOT THE SAME. They offered such generous interest rates initially, but with the entire market where it is, it's just another bank, but with very low trust! Reviewed on: 26th February 2024

Easy to use.

The verbal contact with customer service helped in setting up my account. I like the instant notification that is sent whenever I use my card, money taken out or deposited. App easy to use. Exceptional! The U.K’s Best Banking App

Exceptional! I use Chase everyday, and after returning from a trip to the U.S., I can say that this continues to be the best way to bank. No overseas fees and really easy to top up as required. The app is really slick and easy to navigate, the daily cash back rewards and other perks make this well worth your time, especially given it is free.
