There for the people

I have used Notts and Lincs credit union twice, the first time due to just wanting a bit more money in my bank and the second was due to moving home, I asked for a fair bit the second time and they responded pretty quickly, saying they weren’t going to give me the amount I asked for but could give me this amount, i believe they did this for my own sake, knowing what I could afford to give back each month, they are normal people who understand peoples needs and are there for you when you need them, I had to stop one months payment and instead of hassling me, I told them why and that I will be able to continue normal payments the month after, no harassment or nagging. They also put some of what you pay back into a savings account for you, which you can transfer out at any time. So handy. If I ever need a little bit I know I can go to them, they aren’t daft and give money out here, there and anywhere, they actually listen and understand. My History as a long term CU customer

I’ve been a member of the credit union for a considerable number of years initially as an Employee within the Nottingham City Council when the Nottingham City credit union was only accessible to NCC Employees, which has now improved accessible to the wider communities.. My experience with NCCU has always been positive following numerous loans over the years which enabled me to improve my personal financial situation & also build savings which enabled me to travel to the USA to attend my Son wedding that’s just one of the opportunities I would never had experience if it was not for the support from Nottingham & Lincs credit union. NCCU has been an excellent financial resource which I will continue to access for the excellent financial support to borrow & save money which has improved my financial status & enabled me to recognise the importance of savings & borrowing money only what you can afford to pay back, which is reassuring with NCLCU application so thankyou NCCU for your continued support. Fantastic team, great help

I heard about credit unions from an interview with the actor Michael Sheen on the One Show. Having a credit union available to me has meant I have been able to get on top of my finances and pay off a sizeable chunk of debt which was keeping me up at night. The team at NCLU were incredibly helpful and happy to help me and when I needed a top up loan for my wedding, the process was super simple and I was glad I stayed with NCLU for my loan needs.
