MASSIVE FAIL!

Coventry Building Society account number 23683694 Coventry Building Society! I was always talking good way to my friends and brokers.... until I try to port my loan to another property. Coventry you hurt my so much! You broken me, you broken all my dreams all I was working extremely hard for 15 years! You are desgusting how you handle this case with porting my mortgage. I am absolutely broken now and efect my health condition currently! You can't imagine what you did to us. We came so far with selling my house, found the buyer, start proceeding with solicitor, buyer paid for the searches. I Also found property for myself, start proceeding, paid for the searches, so many people was involve with this transaction, brokers estate agents. We all waste money and 5 months from the selling my property to find out that you decline my mortgage. You wasted 2 months waiting and providing information from the time the aplication was sent to port the mortgage. You broke everything... bsolutely everything. We was very soon looking to complete this transaction. So many peope involved witht this one and you decision broke everyone dreams. Buyer received mortgage offer from his lender as well. My broker was working extremely hard in my case. I can't believe you decline. I just still can't believe what you did. I completed with property and after the time I try to sell the property because of the Street I live is unsafe. The people are very danger there and me and my partner we very worry of our safety. We have to always make sure our door and Windows are close all the time. I was attack few times already. We have group of people every evening in front of our house shouting, they are very agresive and doing strange things. We dont see our future at this house and make happy family at that house. Coventry you broke us! In first place you agreed to port our loan to another property and said the offer will bee issued in 48hours then you change the mind and decline. Branch experience great, online poor

Branch is great and accessible. Sadly online access leaves a lot to be disputed. Clunky, difficult to use and lots of repetition and waiting around. Even telephone banking is not as easy as it could be. Reviewed on: 12th February 2025

Competitive Cash ISA

The four access cash ISA pays a competitive interest rate. Coventry Building Society are good at communicating any changes to the interest rate. They now have an app as well. Reviewed on: 23rd November 2024

A good account for small savers

Opening an account online was a quick and easy experience. The interest rate is excellent and the added bonus of a monthly prize draw mad it even more attractive. The limit on monthly deposits is not very high but otherwise the account is very flexible. Reviewed on: 4th September 2024

Competitive rates

They keep you informed about rate changes and are as quick to raise them as they are drop them when the base rate changes. They have competitive interest rates and I like being a member of a building society rather than a customer of a bank. Reviewed on: 29th August 2024

Coventry building society used a forged mortgage.

Coventry building society used a forged mortgage to seize an oaps home. The court case caused him to stop eating and taking his medications. He died due to the shock. Coventry building society does it really take 10 years to show him the unsigned mortgage he never signed. Shame on you. Reviewed on: 19th July 2024
