This is a Bank with a Building Society heart.

This is a Bank with a Building Society heart. My own bank of over 40 years considered me too old for a remortgage. Darlington could see my potential as a good customer and provided me with a fixed remortgage deal, at the end of which offered me another suitable fixed deal. The remortgage supported my plan for moving to my forever home. Reviewed on: 7th April 2025

Excellent Service

I am 80 years old and had many experiences over my time in dealing with various banks and building societies. Some I rate as poor, some I rate as middle of the road and some I rate as good, but I must say in all honesty Darlington Building Society is best by miles. Every staff member in all departments know exactly what they are doing and about the products that they are providing. They have the knack of explaining things in a simple and easy way to understand on exactly what their products are about. What I like most of all is every member of staff are so knowledgeable and you don't get passed from pillar to post like many other banks and building societies I have dealt with. We have recently moved homes and they made porting our mortgage over very easy and with perfection. Reviewed on: 7th April 2025
