Our local Building Society

Were very pleased to open children's savings accounts with our local Building Society BUT very disappointed when our local branch was closed! Now it is harder to make regular trips which is what I'd hoped would encourage the children to keep adding to their savings. Reviewed on: 11th September 2020

Reply from Dudley Building Society We are sorry to hear the branch was closed when visiting and we will ensure your feedback is passed on. We are passionate about financial education for children and encouraging them to save, we are currently working on new ideas and incentives to promote children’s savings behaviours and hopefully you will see more on this in the coming months. Unfortunately, given the current circumstances we are continuing to operate reduced opening times in our branches to focus on the personal safety and welfare of both our employees and our members whilst coronavirus is still posing a threat for people’s health and lives. We ensure our opening times are updated on our phone lines, social media and website to ensure our customers do not make an unnecessary trip. Response date: 1st October 2020
