Ethical, and so Supportive !

I love saving with a building society that does specific, practical things for the environment, and for housing (both so badly needed). Ethical - no investments in bombs or fossil fuels! The people who work for it are lovely! When I ring up to ask questions, I always get patient, friendly help and clear answers. Sure, the interest rate offered is modest - but this is outweighed by the peace of mind Ecology Building Society offers its customers. Reviewed on: 10th November 2024

Always been very happy with them.

I have always been very happy with them. YOu get to talk to real people, who seem to care and be interested. You are not left hanging on a phone line for ages. The society practises what it preaches, has an eco friendly office and supports worthwhile projects to help the environment. The rate of interest is not great but then it is not good anywhere, and at least the money is going towards worth while projects. Reviewed on: 7th April 2021

The Ecology Building Society does what it says on the tin.

I have had and still have several savings accounts with the Ecology and they are unmatched, in my humble opinion, even out-doing Triodos in most measures I find important - interest rates, transparency, activities, customer education etc. Reviewed on: 7th April 2021
