Review of the Ecology Building Society, Savings:

The obvious choice

The week that the Ecology Building Society opened, I visited Companies House in London to verify their credentials and have had an account with them ever since. They provide a unique service, in that their are so few ethical financial establishments in which to invest which don't invest in arms or contribute inadvertently to the manufacture of nuclear weapons, by investing in the nuclear industry. The EBS are the only choice for many who wish to buy or improve properties which would simply not be considered by other building societies. Reviewed on: 12th March 2021

My money feels safe and I know it is used well

I've had several savings accounts for many years. The Ecology Building Society uses my money to support others to build sustainable buildings and this meets my desire to do good with my money. My money also feels very safe. Reviewed on: 13th March 2021

Outstanding customer service!

I have been with EBS for many years and one of my children has a savings account with them too. Their customer service is outstanding and responsive. I love the fact the EBS lends on sustainable projects in a responsible way, one of the only lenders to do so. Reviewed on: 13th March 2021

Efficient, helpful

Decided to put some savings away with an ethical provider. Having looked at Ethical Investor’s website, the clear choice was the Ecology. Set up a new ISA with them in a matter of minutes and received a follow-up call and correspondence very promptly to check things were right. All very satisfactory. Reviewed on: 13th March 2021
