I was pleasantly surprised!

I started using Emma just after a little research and wasn’t really hopeful. Once I started using it, I was amazed as it is really integrated with your bank account, allowsn you to set budgets that are flexible to set up and manage. I feel like I am getting a very good real time reflection of where my money goes every month. Reviewed on: 5th April 2023

Helps me keep on track

Managing my personal finances is tricky and I have for years tried and struggled with spreadsheets and the now defunct Microsoft Money. The tools in Emma are simple to use and help me budget easily. I like the fact that it automatically categorises my expenditure and the accuracy is good. Whilst my banking app does the same, my credit card doesn't and managing all of my spend in one place makes life a whole lot easier. It was because of the tips in Emma that I identified areas where I was overspending, especially on subscriptions (standing orders/direct debts) and managed to reduce my outgoings. It also prompted me to get my pension sorted out which means I now have a clear view of my retirement plan. Overall, an excellent app and a sound investment. Reviewed on: 5th April 2023
