Great app... But everything you need is behind a paywall, and you get hassled everytime to signup when using the app. Reviewed on: 9th April 2023

Easy to use, but too many notifications

I've recommended Emma to everyone!

Emma is the first budgeting app which requires little effort and is extremely useful. It brings together all of your banks (including AMEX!) seamlessly, and helps you manage spending in real-time. I love the bar chart for income vs spending, as well as the ability to categorise expenses across bank accounts. Great app and I use it every day. Reviewed on: 5th April 2023

Emma is like Cinderella s Fairy Godmother

I shouldn’t have started with that review title as I could be misleading. NOT. EMMA IS EXACTLY THAT! Tells me exactly how much I have spent at Starbuck in apologetic frappuccinos to my girlfriend after our arguments (even though I am the one sleeping on the iron cast sofa- it was the first invented sofa) Gives me a quick thorough reports of my finances from the incomings (which are always like Luther Vandross’ song: Never Too Much) and outgoings (wait why am i playing so much for Disney Plus? - I am single-handedly financing the new Mandalorian season) plus giving me a well calculated forecast of my month so I can plan my finances while putting money aside (new sofa for example). Is there something else Emma could do? Maybe send weekly massage vouchers to me to help relieve my back aches (did I mention the sofa?) but that’s absurd. Emma is already everything and beyond. On a serious note, Emma has made me more financially mature and I am very grateful for that. Can never recommend it enough to my friends and family (in fact they all have it)! Great for your financial health

I love the premise of the app (and mainly its execution). It's great to be regularly updated on your financial position in a one-stop-shop. It's just a shame that some of the more, what I consider, fundamental functions (such as custom labels/categories for expenditure and income) are restricted to subscribing users. I have been using EMMA for over a year now, and it is a great companion app... i am finally on top of my various accounts and outgoings. The free version is already great, i m now considering the upgrade for the quality of life features. thanks EMMA! Reviewed on: 5th April 2023

Life- Changing

Emma has helped me so much with my finances. Coming from a family with not much knowledge of finances and how to use them wisely, Emma was a great help in providing support with how to reduce outgoings, which is great in the Cost-of-Living crisis, it also provided many discounts on hundreds of shops and having the daily reminder on where your finances sit and a monthly report on what you are spending your money on is fab! Emma has introduced investments which I have not tried yet but am excited to start and the saving pots also. Emma lays everything out in a fun and engaging way too which keeps me interested and wanting to use the app. Reviewed on: 5th April 2023

From with bad money to obsessed with saving!!!

To say I was bad with money before using Emma is an understatement! I would actually fear opening my banking apps, I had various accounts in different places which was such a chore and I would literally cross my fingers when paying on card, hoping it would go through. Emma has helped me get on top of my money and keep track of what I'm spending and where. It's been a huge relief for my anxiety to regain control of my finances - can't recommend it enough!
