1 STAR – AVOID AT ALL COSTS I am absolutely disgusted with Equifax. They took fees from my account without my clear consent, with no proper explanation, no transparent authorisation, and no adequate warning. This is completely unacceptable and feels deliberately misleading. I did not knowingly agree to ongoing charges, yet money was still taken. Trying to resolve this has been a nightmare. Customer service is evasive, unhelpful, and clearly trained to deflect responsibility rather than fix the issue. You are passed around, given vague responses, and made to feel like you are the problem — despite them taking your money. For a company that handles sensitive financial and credit information, their behaviour is shockingly unethical. If they are willing to quietly take fees without proper consent, it seriously raises concerns about how they operate in general. I strongly advise anyone considering Equifax to check your bank statements carefully and avoid them altogether if you value transparency and basic consumer rights. This has caused unnecessary stress and wasted time, and I have zero trust left in this company. Absolutely disgraceful. Reviewed on: 31st December 2025

Got credit restored in due time

When private credit repair specialists like rocketskycredit on X socials really got a negative items off my report was when i found out that Equifax and the likes are alll overrated companies. I’ve always struggled with my credit report for years and the hard inquiries. I thought my credit score was way too low for someone with my income level. I’ve done everything to get it up but it’s still not enough. Reviewed on: 11th November 2025

Incorrect password or email address

I cannot get access to my new account because of the wrong incorrect password or the wrong incorrect email address whereby I found that very annoying. I feel very frustrated and annoyed when something like this happens to me. I would recommend forward the complaint to the Ombudsman team to help get this fixed because Equifax has not been doing nothing about this to get this resolved. I have now had enough of this. Don't give correct info on report

Contacted them and clear score about the used credit on my report which was incorrect and showing I was near my limit when I wasn't. The issue wasn't sorted and still isn't 2 months after contacted them! They try pass the buck to everyone else and even though said in email they look into it they still jot sort and when contact by phone they won't talk unless have lots of different case numbers from other companies (who I stated haven't responded to multiple calls and emails) then when asked to speak to manager they won't put one on!! Idiotic computer generated point based system

They are useless and not legitimate company. I have both my experian and trust union is on excellent score they gold correct information regarding my electoral and adresses adres. However, this CHINESE Or God knows how they operate scored my account as a poor* due to their computer* generated score. First of all, they hold so many incorrect information regarding my informations. They accumulated my surname incorrect so they couldn't find me on electoral register (idiots of course can't fine when they spell it wrong). They said I have missed payment from water bills and then I checked with my supplier (all paid of via direct debit) and all is set as it should. Because of their idiotic computer generated point based system my real life suffered. Such a shameful company shouldn't exist! Reviewed on: 27th October 2022

Legit scam

You cannot cancel subscription and run the risk of bad credit. Check reviews online and trust pilot, luckily there's a few more credit check companies now. Reviewed on: 26th October 2021
