Through thick and thin

I had never planned to stay with First Direct for long. I switched to them because of their offer, got some cash and thought I'd leave half a year later and get some more cash for that. But to be honest, after nine months with this bank I can't imagine being with any other. The customer service is excellent, there are no long queues on the phone, no call centres abroad (judging from the thick Scottish accent I was greeted by during my last call) and instead a whole lot of service and friendliness. Yesterday, someone used my card to purchase drone supplies in the US. No idea how they got my card details. First direct noticed, contacted me immediately, and got my money back. First Class for First Direct

First Direct are an excellent company for banking. I have free overdraft up to £250. Whenever I have phoned, the service I reason is first class and the staff are so friendly and ensure that you are happy before the call is finished. A proper helping hand

I don't often ring the bank - I reckon if I keep my head down they'll not notice my occasional financial indescretions - but when I do ring, I always get a courteous response.
