Excellent experience since switching- do it you won't be disappointed!!

I switched to first direct after 20 odd years with another bank and several poor experiences. Initially I was drawn in by the cash offered to switch but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service. Switching was unbelievably simple and went smoothly thanks to the customer service at first direct. Both telephone and Internet banking are made easy and convenient. I've since set up savings with first direct. If you're feeling unappreciated and undervalued by your current bank or you're fed up with poor service then vote with your feet and switch! Best Bank There is

I've been a First Direct customer for over 16 years now and I've never had a bad experience with them in all that time. They've always been able to answer any queries I've had when using their telephone banking service, and their online banking runs flawlessly. Sure, nowadays they take a little longer to answer the phone when you ring but that's due to their large increase in popularity and I never seem to be on hold for more than a couple of minutes if at all. Would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone who are sick of their current bank and actually want to receive good service. I don't see myself leaving them at any point soon. Just like your car, if it aint broke don't fix it! Hoping that First Direct don't change their philosophy of good customer service ;) Reviewed on: 23rd December 2015
