A solid bank

I have banked with First Direct for years and they have always been really very good. Good customer services, with a decent app. I do feel they have left their leading edge a little, and I did have a bad experience with them when trying to get a loan from them - they tried to charge me 2% over the advertised rate despite having an excellent credit rating. (I used Tesco Bank in the end for an even cheaper rate than FD offered. Reviewed on: 12th April 2024

I have been with First Direct since 2005. Took my mortgage with them in 2010. Excellent UK call centre and superb app. They are there when you need with minimal waiting time. Superb service not like other UK banks. Reviewed on: 12th April 2024

First Direct First In Class

I’ve been with first direct for nearly 20 years now and wouldn’t change. I do most of my major domestic banking and bills via first direct and it’s easy to manage. The app is easy to use and their customer service team are first class, This makes all the difference, speaking to a UK based team when you need to. Reviewed on: 2nd April 2024
