With a Glasgow Credit Union loan, you can borrow up to £25,000. Once you’re a member, you can apply for a loan in app, online or by phone. You’ll need to save at least £10 per month into your Member Savings during the term.

Reliable

I have had to apply for loans on a number of occasions i.e. home improvements etc. GCU have always been there for their customers - always dependable, trustworthy and fair, with great rates to boot! Reviewed on: 9th August 2021

Lend and Save

Took out a loan with Glasgow CU and as a member I automatically save money with each repayment. These savings I can take out at any point which is super helpful on months where money needs to go a bit further. Also, the repayments are affordable and the interest fair! Really pleased with GCU! Xmas and Holiday Cost and Large Families

We have 5 children, and over the years my wife and I have alternated our Credit Union loans/savings so that I pay for the summer holidays and she paid for Xmas. If it wasn't for the Credit Union we'd probably have had to use credit cards or downsized our plans considerably. As it stands this system, where the money is taken off at source, has worked extremely well for us since the mid 90's. 3 of my children are now members (so far) through our recommendation, and are getting in to the habit of saving and planning their finances, even with relatively small amounts of money. One of them is at school, one is a student, and the other is about to be a student. Being young they don't always take our advice, however the long term benefits were so obvious the joined quickly and easily via their iPhone. Very accessible when you attempt to join apparently. Very good provider
